A 14-year poetic documentary that follows
Maryam , a girl with Down syndrome , living in isolation with her family in the mountains of southern Iran.
With no access to modern life, the film captures the beauty of her connection to nature, animals, and her father’s devotion.
It is a journey of growth , silence , and natural healing .
The Caveman (Mard-e Ghar-Neshin)
Currently in production, this second documentary explores the ancient, untouched lifestyle of a cave-dwelling family
in the remote regions of Bushehr / Iran.
With over 17 years of travel—including 4-hour hikes to reach these communities—Gharibzadeh has captured a way of
life that has remained unchanged for centuries.
